baby makes six

We have officially become a family of SIX...yes...SIX! It is funny to say that out loud, something we are going to have to get used to.

Isla Hanna Claire was welcomed into the world May 27th @ 8:14am weighing a perfect 7lbs 13ozs & 21 inches long. She is one happy & healthy little lady.

I was fortunate enough to have my fantastic friend come up to the hospital and not only spoil me with gifts and visits...but also take this fantastic photos of our newest addition. Thank you Michele!

blog slacker.

I see its been more then a few days since I made a post. Please bare with me as I am currently within the one week mark of having a baby. Okay...excuses excuses...but I figure its a pretty decent one!

I have not been doing any photography for the past week or so. I find I only get frustrated at not being able to get in the position I want or to the location I desire...so I am taking a bit of a breather until the dust settles.

For those that do not know, not only am I set to have baby arrive in less then one week (Tuesday will be the final day if baby does not appear on its own), but I am also in the midst of building a home and getting set to move for mid June. In case it was ever in question, I am officially CRAZY!

Thank you for the continued support and for always stopping by to check out my blog (although never leaving comments...hehe). Look forward to getting back into the swing of things...

in the yard

Since we dont seem to be making too many adventures these days, I thought I had better at least get the camera out for some yard shots. Now, if only I was able to convince this little man that co-operating is what toddlers do! Much of his time is spent running AWAY from me and when you cannot run very fast (hehe) it sure does not make for any easily obtained photos...

The last photo makes me smile...only because he is actually taking the time to "stop and smell the flowers". Slowing down does not happen often for this little man...

a little bit of me

These days I am not doing much standing behind the camera. With a baby due in 3 weeks or less, I am not able to get up and down with too much ease and I just end up getting frustrated at not getting the angle I would want. So, other then family stuff...I am taking things easy.

I did however get in front of the camera the other day...Michele's camera that is. I am generally not a huge fan of being on the other side of the lens, but I knew that it would be well worth it...and was I ever right. Maybe I will be a little more willing to get on the other side now and then. I will need some new headshots when I have "downsized". hehe.

So here are a few...yup, I love them!
